Practical work is underway to turn mahallas into crime-free zones

As part of the "Safe and Healthy Country" operational and preventive measure, practical work is being carried out to turn mahallas into crime-free zones. The Protection personnel and partner organizations are conducting systematic preventive maintenance throughout the republic.

In particular, as part of similar events held recently, compliance with security measures at retail and consumer services facilities, as well as in homes, was studied. The main focus was on exploring the possibilities of connecting these facilities and houses to technical security centers.

Along with this, the specialists provided detailed information about modern security equipment, the effectiveness of video surveillance cameras and the Smart Home project developed by the Department of Protection.

At the initiative of the public, alarm buttons were installed at the entrances to multi-storey buildings, streets and sidewalks were equipped with video surveillance cameras and integrated into monitoring centers of the Departments of Internal Affairs and Protection, which ensures constant control and peace of mind of citizens and the safety of mahallas. In turn, the previously installed alarm and video surveillance systems were technically serviced.

Similar events are held in all regions of our republic.
