Guarding units

Guarding units - units of protection of the National Guard, consisting of civilian employees, who have the right to use physical force and special equipment in the performance of official duties in the prescribed manner.

The main tasks of an employee of the guarding unit:

- protection and security of objects from illegal encroachments;
- providing access and intra-facility regimes at guarded facilities;
- prevention and suppression of crimes and administrative offenses at protected facilities;
- introduction and use of advanced engineering and technical means and methods of protection;
- ensuring and maintaining a high level of service and combat training;
- participation in the prevention and elimination of the consequences of emergencies and situations of a man-made and natural character at protected sites;
- ensuring effective interaction with law enforcement and other state bodies, representatives of the public on the organization of reliable protection of objects and property from the commission of sabotage and terrorist acts, arson, theft, and other criminal encroachments;
- use service and guard dogs for security activities;
- carry out other tasks in accordance with the law.
