The Directorate of Protection of Jizzakh region hosted a round table on the topic "Education against ignorance" with the participation of employees. Speakers at the event noted that in these difficult times, not only useful but also harmful information is widely distributed on social networks. In particular, materials that undermine faith and beliefs, harm religion and creed, lead people astray and call for extremist movements, and introduce destructive views into the consciousness of citizens. In such critical times, strengthening the ideological immunity of the population, especially the younger generation, against fundamentalist ideas and warning them about ideological threats becomes an urgent task.
In addition, they talked about ways to protect against threats and explained that not every message is correct and objective. Following the results of the round table, answers were given to the questions of the staff on the issues on the agenda.
