The Samarkand Regional Information and Library Center named after A.S. Pushkin hosted a round table on the topic "Motherland is my pride!" The event was held as part of the "One Book, One Life" campaign and was timed to coincide with the 34th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Employees of the Directorate of Protection and the Department of Internal Affairs of Samarkand region, as well as specialists from the information and library center, actively participated in the discussion. The participants had an exciting discussion about love of the Motherland.
The theme of the event reflects the deep feelings of patriotism, pride and honor that every citizen feels towards his country. The discussion was aimed at understanding the importance of preserving and protecting national values and cultural heritage.
During the meeting, reports were presented on the contribution of outstanding compatriots to the development of the state, issues of patriotic education of the younger generation and the role of each citizen in strengthening the countryʼs independence were discussed. The participants exchanged views on modern challenges and ways to overcome them, emphasizing the importance of national unity and loyalty to national traditions. The event ended with the adoption of a resolution on the further development of the patriotic movement in the region.
