In the Samarkand Automotive College, on the initiative of the Directorate of "Protection" of the National Guard of Samarkand region, together with the regional department of the Archery Federation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports, an archery competition among young people for the Cup of the head of the Directorate of "Protection" was organized.
After the opening ceremony, a spectacular competition was launched. Athletes from cities and districts of the entire region competed for victory in competitions at a distance of 15 meters.
According to the results, the places were distributed as follows:
- among young men Ergashev Sukhrob took 1st place, Gulomov Shokhjakhon took 2nd place, Abduazizov Jasur took 3rd place;
- among the girls, Malika Shakhobiddinova took 1st place, Latipova Shakhina – 2nd place, Nurmurodova Solikha – 3rd place;
- the team of Ishtykhan district won the team competition, the silver went to the archers from Samarkand city, the bronze went to the team of Narpay district.
The winners and prize-winners were awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts from the organizers.
