A large-scale spiritual and educational event dedicated to the 584th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and poet Mir Alisher Navoi, an outstanding representative of Uzbek literature and spirituality, has been organized in Khorezm region.
The event, held in the regional information and library center of Urgench city under the slogan "Navoi lives in our hearts," was attended by employees of the National Guard Department for the region and the Directorate of "Protection", representatives of government and public organizations, teachers, members of the Youth Union, pupils of the Academic Lyceum at Urgench State University.
The participants of the event discussed the rich spiritual heritage of Alisher Navoi, his contribution to Uzbek and world literature, humanistic ideas and the sublime meaning of his ghazals. They also noted the importance of in-depth study of Navoiʼs work for young people and the importance of promoting the ideas of the great poet in our time.
In addition, during the event, ghazals from the works of Navoi and Babur were read to the participants, creative performances and book exhibitions were organized. The event was held in a warm and sincere atmosphere, which helped to increase the respect and interest of young people in great figures. The participants who actively participated in the event received diplomas and books.
Along with this, a musical and poetic evening "Nazm va navo" dedicated to the birthday of Alisher Navoi was held at the Ferghana Regional Information and Library Center in cooperation with the Ferghana city branch of the Nuroniylar Foundation and the Directorate of "Protection" of the National Guard.
The event was attended by representatives of the regional khokimiyat, labor veterans who have worked for many years in regional organizations and departments, actors of the Ferghana State Music and Drama Theater, teachers and students of the Ferghana specialized boarding school makoma, employees of the Ferghana Regional Emergency Management, and active library readers.
No less interesting for the participants of the event were the stage performances presented by the actors of the Fergana State Musical and Drama Theater, as well as songs on Alisher Navoiʼs gazelle performed by young melodic artists.
