An event on crime prevention was held at the Regional Training Center of the Republic of Karakalpakstan
As part of the celebration of Crime Prevention Day, a thematic round table on "We are intolerant of corruption" was held at the Regional Training Center of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The main speaker of the event was R. K. Sadikov, Senior Adviser of Justice, Head of the Department of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Department for Combating Economic Crimes at the Prosecutor Generalʼs Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In his speech, he spoke in detail about modern methods of preventing and countering corruption offenses and bribery in the context of globalization. Special attention was paid to the practical aspects of detecting and suppressing corruption schemes. The participants of the event received not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical anti-corruption skills. In the format of a live dialogue, employees were able to ask their questions to competent specialists and receive comprehensive answers.
The event helped to increase the level of legal literacy of the staff and to form a strong rejection of corruption in professional activities among the participants.
