In order to further improve the activities of blood service institutions in the republic and to develop a gratuitous donation movement among the population, a charity event "I am a donor" is being held at enterprises, organizations and institutions within the framework of the project "Donate blood — give life!". Another action took place at the Department of Protection of Samarkand city.

The specialists of the regional blood transfusion station, who visited the security department, held an information meeting with the staff. They talked about the blood donation process, the requirements for donors and their rights, as well as compliance with sanitary and hygienic rules. The experts also highlighted the benefits of donation for human health and emphasized the important role of donated blood in saving patients with intractable hematological diseases and thalassemia.

After the information part, the staff of the Department of Protection voluntarily took part in the "I am a donor" campaign and donated blood for free. At the end of the event, the specialists of the regional blood transfusion station presented letters of thanks and memorable gifts to the staff who actively participate in the donor movement and provide practical assistance in the development of gratuitous donation.
