As part of the large-scale operational and preventive event "Safe Territory — current 20 days", employees of the Directorate of Protection of Surkhandarya region conducted comprehensive explanatory work at the Yashil Dunyo food market in Termez city and in nearby apartment buildings.

During the meetings, citizens were told in detail about the capabilities of the Protection Service in preventing crimes and offenses, demonstrated the operation of alarm systems and the protection of facilities and apartments. Experts recommended the active use of modern security equipment to protect property and ensure the well-being of the population.

Special attention was paid to the situation in the Mirzo Ulugbek mahalla of Sariasi district, which belongs to the "red" category. Together with the district Department of Internal Affairs and the Makhalla Seven, a detailed analysis of the criminal situation was carried out, meetings with residents were organized and specific measures to improve the situation were identified.

As a result of the joint work, measures are planned to install video surveillance cameras and alarm buttons in residential buildings and on the streets, conduct regular raids and work with citizens who are on preventive registration. All these measures are aimed at improving the criminal situation and excluding mahallas from the "red" category.
