The Department of Protection under the Ministry of Internal Affairs and its territorial divisions, in cooperation with the Mahalla Seven, are implementing a system of preventive and educational measures. Specialists inform residents about modern protection equipment that contributes to the early prevention of crimes, as well as explain the effectiveness of video surveillance systems, introduce the types of protection services and the capabilities of rapid response teams. Along with this, citizens are provided with information about the Smart Home project.

In addition, various technical solutions are being implemented to improve security. For example, alarm buttons are installed at the entrances to entrances, streets and sidewalks are gradually equipped with video surveillance cameras. Infrastructure facilities — markets, shopping malls and adjacent territories — are equipped with technical security equipment.
