A round table on healthy lifestyle promotion and prevention of infectious diseases such as AIDS and HIV has been organized in Khorezm region
The Directorate of Protection of Khorezm Region hosted a round table aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among employees and strengthening preventive measures to prevent AIDS and HIV infection.
The event was attended by O. Ochilov, Deputy head of the Regional AIDS Control Center, a doctor of the highest category. He provided detailed information on the ongoing work on the formation of a healthy lifestyle in society, the prevention of infectious diseases and the improvement of medical culture among the population.
During the round table, the staff received practical recommendations on the prevention of such dangerous infections as AIDS and HIV. Impressive videos were also shown, telling about the life path of people living with this disease. This helped the participants of the event to form an informed attitude to this problem.
The event played an important role in strengthening medical knowledge and preventive skills among workers in the field, as well as in further promoting a healthy lifestyle culture.
