A working meeting with employees of the Protection Service was held in Termez city, focusing on issues of service discipline, legality, and corporate culture development.
The event was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Zavkiddin Khodjanov, Deputy Head of the Internal Affairs Directorate of Surkhandarya Region; Lieutenant Colonel Sodikjon Safarov, Head of the General Department of Internal Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Surkhandarya Region; and Lieutenant Colonel Alibek Choriyev, Head of the Protection Service under the Internal Affairs Directorate.
During the discussion, the participants focused on key areas of work, including enhancing professional responsibility among employees, fostering a conscious attitude towards official duties, and developing a sense of gratitude and involvement in the common cause.
It was emphasized that service discipline is not merely a basic obligation for every employee but also a solid foundation for the effective operation of the entire unit. Moreover, discipline fosters an atmosphere of mutual trust within the team and contributes to the professional growth of personnel.
Considerable attention was given to the importance of having a sense of gratitude — the ability to appreciate the opportunities provided, the working conditions created, and the trust placed by management and society. It was noted that such an approach has a positive impact on the psychological well‑being of employees and enhances their engagement in official activities.
In the course of the dialogue, participants discussed specific instances of discipline violations, analyzed the consequences of such incidents, and outlined preventive measures to avoid them.
Special emphasis was placed on the fact that combating corruption is a direct and inseparable duty of every Security Service employee.
As a result of the meeting, responsible employees were instructed to regularly conduct preventive educational talks with staff, carefully examine emerging issues and incoming suggestions, and organize training sessions aimed at improving legal literacy and enhancing professional skills of employees.
