A kurash competition for the championship of the National Guard was held in Bukhara city
On September 17-19 this year, in cooperation with the Wrestling Federation of Uzbekistan, a wrestling competition for the championship of the National Guard was held in the sports complex “Madaniyat” located in Bukhara district.
19 teams from among 200 servicemen and employees of the National Guard systems competed for victory in 7 weight categories (60 kg, 66 kg, 73 kg, 81 kg, 90 kg, 100 kg, + 100 kg).
It is worth noting that absolutely every participant demonstrated incredible zeal for victory and worthily defended the honor of his team.
According to the results of spectacular and exciting competitions, the 3rd place was won by the athletes of the military unit 65921 of the National Guard, the 2nd place - the team of the Main Directorate of “Protection” of the National Guard. Athletes of the National Guard Department for the Republic of Karakalpakstan took the honorable 1st place.
Deputy Minister of Sports Sh. Mahmudov took part in the awarding ceremony and expressed his sincere wishes to the athletes and their coaches, as well as sports fans. After that, the organizers awarded the winners and prize-winners with medals, diplomas and a cup.
