The Uzbek language is our national pride!
October 21 is a significant date in the history of the Uzbek people. It was on this day in 1989 that the Uzbek language was given the status of the state language, which became an important step in strengthening the national identity and cultural heritage of our people. In honor of this date, large-scale spiritual and educational events were organized in the Department of Protection and its territorial divisions.
The events were attended by employees of all departments, teachers, students and schoolchildren. The participants presented reports on the history of the development of the state language, its rich vocabulary, as well as its scientific and cultural significance. The round table discussed the role of the state language in modern society and ways to foster a sense of respect and pride in the native language among the younger generation.
Special attention was paid to the importance of the Uzbek language in strengthening the countryʼs independence and its role in public life. The participants emphasized that the preservation and development of the language is the sacred duty of every citizen. Following the meetings, it was noted that love and devotion to the mother tongue should be manifested not only in words, but also in practical activities. The participants also called for strengthening efforts to promote the state language among young people.
