THE NATIONAL GUARD ARCHERY CUP AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE WAS HELD IN TERMEZ
As part of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the year "On measures for the further development and popularization of the sport of archery" dated June 17, 2021, a number of events are being held in Surkhandarya region to widely promote archery, a sport inherited from our great ancestors. In particular, the Directorate of "Protection" of the National Guard of Surkhandarya region and the Archery Federation regularly hold master classes and various competitions.
The other day in the Children's health camp "Amudarya", in Termez city, competitions for the Cup of the National Guard among sports fans and youth from the "red" category assigned to the National Guard took place. The competition, organized by the regional Directorate of "Protection", was attended by boys and girls from more than 100 cities and districts, and also demonstrated their skills in individual and team competitions. The course of spectacular and exciting competitions was monitored and fairly evaluated by qualified specialists.
According to the results of the competition among archers, the 1st place was won by Ilyas Kholmirzaev (Sariosiyo district), the 2nd place – Shakhboz Bobonazarov (Altinsay district), the 3rd place – Nazhmiddin Komilov (Termez district). Zebo Kuvandikova (Sariosiyo district) took 1st place among the girls, Nigina Khidirova (Termez district) took 2nd place, Charos Abduganieva (Termez district) took 3rd place.
In the team competitions among young men, the honorable first place went to the team of Sariasiyo district, 2nd place – Kumkurgan district, 3rd place – Sherabad district. Among the girls, the 1st place was awarded to the team of Sariosiyo district, the 2nd place to Termez district and the 3rd place to Muzrabotsky district.
The winners and prize-winners were awarded with diplomas, medals, cups and valuable gifts from the Directorate of "Protection" of the National Guard. In addition, the coaches and a group of young people who made a worthy contribution to the organization and holding of the event were duly awarded.
