In order to educate young people in the spirit of military patriotism, promote a healthy lifestyle among them, form important qualities, such as a sense of responsibility and belonging to the fate of their country and people, the Department of "Protection" of Altyaryk district of Fergana region, together with the Department of Public Education and the Agency for Youth Affairs, organized the district stage of the military sports competition "Young guardsman" among pupils of grades 7-8 of district educational institutions.
The participants demonstrated incredible zeal for victory and competed in drill, the use of special gas mask equipment, relay races, demonstrations of hand-to-hand combat, pull-ups on the crossbar and archery.
The team "Shunkorlar" from among the pupils of secondary school № 31 took the third place, the team "Chakkonlar" of secondary school № 13 – the second place, the team "Esh guardiachilar" of secondary school № 14 – the honorable first place and passed to the regional stage. The winners and active participants were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.
