Competitions in 6 sports for the cup of the head of the National Guard Department for Surkhandarya region among young people were held in Jarkurgan. The event was attended by the management of the National Guard and the Directorate of "Protection", as well as officials who opened the sports competitions.

The competitions, organized jointly with the Dzharkurgan district Khokimiyat, the Youth Affairs Agency and sports departments, were held in high spirits and gave the participants special emotions.

About 700 participants from among the boys and girls from makhallas aged 14 to 30 years demonstrated their skills in such sports as freestyle wrestling, volleyball, table tennis, arm wrestling, chess and checkers, as well as knockout.

At the end of the competition, the winners and prize-winners were awarded diplomas, medals and memorable gifts of the National Guard.
