A special tactical exercise was conducted at the Directorate of Protection of Namangan region. The theme of the event is "Joint actions of the facilityʼs management, civil protection units and the cityʼs emergency services in case of man—made emergencies."

The main purpose of the exercise was to practice the actions of personnel to alert civil protection units, organize the work of the emergency response headquarters, as well as withdraw formations to the emergency zone and organize their management.

According to the scenario, a simulated earthquake occurred, as a result of which there were "injured" employees and a power outage. The prompt actions of rescuers and medical workers made it possible to effectively cope with the situation. The captains of the rescue and medical aid units promptly took the injured to a safe place, where they received urgent first aid. After that, the victims were sent to medical institutions, and the power supply was restored.

During the exercise, emergency recovery operations were carried out, water samples and air composition from the emergency zone were analyzed, and measures were taken to sanitize the territory.

The exercise demonstrated the high readiness of personnel to act in emergency situations and the effectiveness of the interaction of all involved services.
