Various cultural, educational and sports events are held in Surkhandarya region with the participation of National Guard personnel. A vivid example of this is an excursion to the "Termiz" State Museum-Reserve for employees of the department of "Protection" of Termez city.
It should be emphasized that this museum-reserve is a center that preserves the century-old history of ethnocultural traditions and culture of the region, archaeological treasures and much more. During the visit, the specialists told a lot of new and interesting things about the history of the Surkhan oasis, after which the staff were able to get a closer look at the unique exhibits. And this, in turn, serves as a basis for strengthening respect for the history of the native land and national traditions in the hearts of employees.
In addition, employees of the Directorate of "Protection" of Namangan region also visited the State Museum of History and Culture of the region.
During the trip, a discussion was held about the independence of our state and its historical significance. Experts stressed that over the past time, Uzbekistan, having hardened in the trials along the way and gained the necessary experience, has formed as a sovereign state with its own specific goals, course and position.
