An athletics competition for the Cup of the Head of the Directorate of Protection of Surkhandarya region was held among the employees.
80 employees from all cities and districts took part in the competitions, which took place at the Alpomish stadium in Termez city. The participants demonstrated their skills in various athletics disciplines. The results were evaluated in running at distances of 100 meters and 3 kilometers, as well as in the long jump.
According to the results of the competition, the winners who showed high results in the team competition were determined.
Thus, the 3rd place was taken by the team of the Department of Protection of Sariasi district, the 2nd place went to the staff from Jarkurgan district, and the honorable 1st place took the team of the Department of Protection of Baysun district.
The winners and prize-winners were awarded with the cup of the head of the department, diplomas, medals and valuable gifts.
