Another preventive meeting was held to protect employees from information attacks through social networks, as well as to prevent cybercrime
Recently, officials of the Directorate of Protection of Navoi Region together with specialists of the Department of Internal Affairs of the region, organized another preventive meeting dedicated to protecting employees from information attacks on social networks and preventing cybercrime.
During the meeting, the staff was informed about measures to prevent cybercrime and the need to raise public awareness of cyber threats, responsibility for gambling, as well as protection against new types of cybercrime, such as fake links and viruses spread through social networks. In addition, the participants of the meeting drew attention to the growing number of crimes committed on social networks.
Along with this, the importance of maintaining official discipline among the personnel and observing the rule of law was noted. At the end of the meeting, the specialists answered all the questions of the staff and provided them with practical recommendations.
