Uzbekistan is widely celebrating the 585th anniversary of the birth of Mir Alisher Navoi — a great thinker, poet, and the «Sultan of the Realm of Gazelles». To mark this milestone, a series of spiritual and educational events are being held across the country to honour the legacy of this outstanding figure in Uzbek literature and spirituality.

Today, a special event titled «Navoi — Eternal in Our Hearts» took place at the Creative School named after Ishoqkhon Tura Ibrat in Turakurgan District of Namangan Region. The event brought together pupils, employees of the regional Protection service, representatives of state and public organizations, as well as professors and teachers. Speakers highlighted the richness of Mir Alisher Navoi’s spiritual legacy and his invaluable contribution to Uzbek and world literature. Particular attention was paid to the humanistic nature and profound meaning of his ghazals. Participants stressed the importance of young people deeply studying Navoi’s work and noted that the poet’s ideas remain highly relevant and require active promotion today.

At the same time, a meeting was held at the Protection Service of Syrdarya Region, attended by employees from district and city departments, and a guest expert. During the event, participants comprehensively examined the role of Alisher Navoi’s legacy in the development of national spirituality, education, and statehood. The guest expert emphasized that Navoi’s works consistently celebrate humanism, justice, patriotism, and high moral values. He particularly noted that these ideas have not lost their significance today, including in professional activities. Additionally, it was pointed out that the poet’s scientific and educational legacy plays a crucial role in nurturing well‑rounded individuals among the younger generation.

At the conclusion of the events, participants expressed their commitment to continue this work on a systematic basis. They also reaffirmed their readiness to support initiatives aimed at promoting national values and spiritual heritage.
