Within the framework of the Crime Prevention Day and in order to strengthen official discipline, legality and increase the level of legal knowledge among the personnel and listeners of the Tashkent Regional Training Center, a seminar on "Corruption is the enemy of development" was held. The event was attended by senior staff of the Prosecutorʼs office of Shaikhantakhur district.

During the seminar, the speakers emphasized that corruption has a devastating impact on all spheres of public life — political, economic, social and cultural. Particular attention was paid to the negative impact of corruption on the countryʼs international image. It was emphasized that every employee should be principled and uncompromising in the fight against this phenomenon.

Detailed explanatory work was carried out during the seminar. The audience was informed about the inevitability of punishment for any violations of the law and that every employee must strictly observe official discipline both during working and off-duty hours, fully comply with the requirements of legality, not engage in illegal activities, faithfully perform official duties, behave correctly when communicating with citizens and avoid inappropriate actions.

The seminar participants gained a clear understanding of the consequences of corruption offenses and the importance of observing ethical standards in their professional activities.
