Corruption is the abuse of official position in the personal interests or interests of other persons in order to obtain material or non–material benefits, as well as the illegal presentation of someone else's name.

Today, systematic measures are being taken to curb corruption in the systems of the Protection service and eliminate the conditions that allowed such acts to be committed.

For example, a video conference on the topic "Corruption is an obstacle to the development of society" was organized with the participation of personnel of the cities and districts departments of directorates of "Protection" of Surkhandarya, Andijan, Namangan, Syrdarya regions, as well as listeners of the Fergana Regional Training Center of the National Guard.

At the event, it was emphasized that corruption is one of the urgent problems, and the causes of its occurrence and ways to prevent it were also discussed. In addition, it was said about the mistakes of employees made during the service, and their causes.

In conclusion, videos were presented on measures against military personnel and employees who made gross mistakes.

Attention is also paid to the issue of regular improvement of legal literacy of employees, informing them about innovations in legislation.
