As previously reported, a working group led by First Deputy Prosecutor General B. Valiyev continues to actively work in Khorezm region to analyze the criminal situation and monitor the implementation of Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan № PD-1 dated January 3, 2025.

In particular, using the example of the Navbahor Mahalla, the effectiveness of targeted measures implemented in Urgench city was studied, based on the tasks defined in the approved "roadmaps" to ensure the implementation of this resolution.

The main objectives of the events are focused on crime prevention, combating offenses and maintaining public order, ensuring the safety of citizens and creating a favorable environment in the mahallas, as well as transforming them into safe zones based on the principles of "Exemplary safe street" and "Exemplary safe entrance". The key area of work is the introduction of modern security systems, including the installation of video surveillance cameras and the installation of alarm buttons. Based on the results of the audit, specific instructions were issued aimed at speeding up the implementation of planned activities and ensuring their high-quality implementation on time.

The groupʼs work continues as planned, with constant monitoring of the achievement of its goals.
