Today, new threats related to cyberspace are emerging in the global information space. Therefore, the issue of protection against attacks in the virtual world is of serious concern to the international community. In this regard, in cooperation with the Department of Internal Affairs and Directorate of Protection of Kashkadarya region, an event was organized under the slogan "Combating cybercrime is an urgent topic."

During the event, current trends in combating cybercrime, methods of preventing offenses committed via the Internet, strengthening the legal framework in this area, the specifics of forensic investigation, disclosure and investigation of crimes committed using information technology, as well as coordination of cooperation between government agencies and the private sector in the field of cybersecurity were discussed.

In addition, proposals were put forward to attract qualified specialists from foreign countries to share their experience in combating cybercrime, improve the effectiveness of cybersecurity measures, create a separate specialized area for the detection and investigation of this type of crime in the future, as well as train qualified specialists.

Special attention was paid to the need to improve the legislative framework and develop new methods for investigating cybercrimes, which will make it possible to more effectively counter modern challenges in the field of information security.
