A training session on the prevention of carbon monoxide poisoning was conducted
As part of the emergency prevention month, a training session on the prevention of carbon monoxide poisoning was held. The event was organized for employees of Directorate of Protection of Namangan region and its territorial divisions with the participation of specialists from the Emergency Management Department.
During the lesson, experts spoke in detail about the properties of carbon monoxide, the mechanisms of its effects on the human body and the dangerous consequences for health. Special attention was paid to the symptoms of poisoning of varying severity and a clear algorithm for first aid in such cases.
The participants also received important recommendations on how to prevent carbon monoxide emissions. The rules of safe operation of heating devices, the need for regular maintenance of heating systems and chimneys, as well as the importance of constant monitoring of ventilation of premises were highlighted. Experts recalled the importance of timely inspection of furnace heating and the inadmissibility of operating internal combustion engines in enclosed spaces.
The lesson helped to raise the awareness of employees about the potential risks associated with carbon monoxide, and allowed them to consolidate their skills in emergency situations.
