The Directorate of Protection of Syrdarya region systematically organizes educational trips for its employees. Such events are aimed at deepening historical knowledge, broadening horizons and understanding the heroic path traversed by previous generations.

As part of another educational initiative, the staff visited the Museum of Memory of Victims of Repression, operating on the basis of Gulistan State University. During the tour, they immersed themselves in the history of the region, getting acquainted with the fates of selfless people who lived and worked in Syrdarya region. Special attention was paid to their struggle for freedom, independence and sovereignty of the Motherland — those values that remain the unshakable foundations of statehood today.

The museumʼs exposition allowed the participants of the trip to experience the drama of bygone eras, realize the value of their newfound freedom and pay tribute to those who went through hardships for the sake of the countryʼs future. Getting to know the documentary evidence and personal stories of the repressed became an important lesson in historical memory and civic responsibility.
