Round tables were organized on the theme "The book is a source of enlightenment!"
In order to increase spiritual literacy and broaden the horizons of the staff of the Department of Protection, various spiritual and educational events are regularly held in the regions, such as literary evenings, meetings of three generations, intellectual games "Zakovat", excursions to historical sites and museums.
For example, within the framework of the "Month of Spirituality" held in the internal affairs bodies, visits were recently organized for employees of the Directorates of Protection of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Surkhandarya region to information and library centers, where round tables were held on the topic "The book is a source of enlightenment!".
During the events, an exchange of views took place on the importance of widespread promotion of reading among the population, the role of reading books in increasing spirituality and intellectual potential of a person, familiarization with literature that will serve the future of personnel, and explanation of books stored in the library collection.
