In order to further strengthen the feelings of patriotism in the hearts of young people, on the initiative of the Directorate of "Protection" of the National Guard of Surkhandarya region, another open day was organized under the motto "The Army of the New Uzbekistan is the backbone of the country, the pride of our people!".
The event was attended by unorganized youth from the mahallas of Yangiturmush, Neftchilar, Uzumzor, Oftobkurgan and Khalkabad, as well as schoolchildren.
At the open day, the children learned a lot of new and interesting things about the lives of the National Guard officers, the conditions created for them, the equipment used, and were also able to ride horses.
After that, the staff told the youth about patriotism, the importance of physical and spiritual training for military service and that military service is a sacred duty of every citizen of Uzbekistan.
In addition, cultural, educational and sports events were held on the themes: "National clothes are a mirror of spirituality!", "My mahalla is my pride", "We are for a healthy lifestyle!" and "Meeting of three generations", which contributed to the meaningful leisure of boys and girls.
