Familiarization of young people with the works of writers and poets who lived and worked in our country creates a solid foundation for strengthening feelings of love and devotion to the motherland in the hearts of the younger generation, as well as increasing interest in reading books.

In this regard, a creative meeting was held in the library named after Zahiddin Muhammad Babur, located in Andijan city, under the slogan "As long as literature lives, the nation is alive", dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the poet and novelist Durbek Kushdoshev, a member of the Union of Writers of Andijan region.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Union of Writers of the Andijan region, professors of the Andijan State University, military personnel, employees and veterans of the National Guard, the Ministry of Defense, as well as pupils of the Muhammad Yusuf Creative School.

The event was held at a high level. Of particular interest to those present were the stories and ghazals of writers and poets, as well as poems read by pupils.
