On the occasion of the 688th anniversary of the birth of Sahibkiran Amir Temur, an excursion to The State Museum of the Temurids History was organized for employees of the Directorate of "Protection" of Tashkent city.
During the tour, the staff of the directorate got acquainted with the manuscripts of Amir Timur and the Temurids period, astronomical instruments of Ulugbek and many other samples of cultural heritage belonging to the Temurids period. In addition, the museumʼs specialists gave detailed information about objects, weapons and clothes of ethnographic significance, as well as told about our great ancestor, his military campaigns and achievements.
The exhibits of the museum have historical significance and show that Amir Timur was not only a statesman, but also a patron of science, art and culture, crafts, spirituality and enlightenment. In addition, the museum allows each visitor to gain a deeper understanding of identity and consolidate knowledge of history.
