An excursion to the Alisher Navoi National Library of Uzbekistan was organized in order to develop a reading culture in the National Guard systems, support the creative activities of employees, as well as increase the number of book lovers in the ranks of the "Protection" service.

In order to develop a culture of reading in the National Guard systems, support the creative activities of employees, as well as increase the number of readers in the ranks of the "Protection" service, literary evenings and meetings with scientific writers are regularly organized.
Another such meeting was held at the Alisher Navoi National Library of Uzbekistan. Members of the Writersʼ Union of Uzbekistan took part in the event and spoke about measures aimed at the formation and development of a reading culture among the personnel of the National Guard. In addition, the writers Orzikul Ergash and Mansur Jumayev, the satirical poet Abdurazzok Obroy told about the rich historical heritage of the book-loving Uzbek people, the life of representatives of Uzbek literature, the rich literary heritage that they left behind. During the meeting, the presentation of the book "Selected Works" by writer Orzikul Ergash, published by the Writersʼ Union of Uzbekistan, took place.
Dialogues in the form of questions and answers on various topics gave the event a special atmosphere. The employees who took an active part were awarded with anthologies of books.
In the second part of the event, the staff got acquainted with the activities of the library, the works stored here, original copies of historical books on the realization of national identity, as well as an electronic database of world and national literature.
Such events contribute to the expansion of the personnelʼs worldview, as well as strengthen interest in literature.
