In order to spend the free time of employees of the Directorate of "Protection" of the National Guard of Khorezm region and their families, an excursion to ancient Khiva was organized.
During the trip, they got acquainted with ancient buildings, museums and the history of Khiva city, which is popularly known as the "open-air museum". Khiva still resembles an old eastern city: you canʼt drive through the narrow streets by car, people live in buildings of the 17th and 18th centuries, and nimble swallows live in the fortress walls.
Thanks to the variety of experiences that meet all interests, a tour of Khiva is undoubtedly a must-see destination for lovers of history and architecture.
