On the initiative of the National Guard, various cultural and educational events and sports competitions are organized for young people in the regions. For example, the National Guard Department for Surkhandarya region recently organized an open day for youth and pupils.
The event was organized by officials from the National Guard, the regional Directorate of “Protection”, the Termez Military Prosecutorʼs Office and the Youth Union. The aim was to educate young people in the spirit of patriotism, familiarize them with the conditions created in the directorate, and consolidate military knowledge and skills. During the event, servicemen and employees presented demonstrations, military equipment, service dogs, told in detail about the sports clubs organized in the gym and noted that those wishing to come and do sports here on a regular basis.
In addition, psychological trainings aimed at motivation and support through effective mechanisms were conducted for the youth.
Then tug-of-war, dumbbell lifting, chess and checkers, archery competitions were held, which aroused great interest and good mood among the participants.
Within the framework of the open day there was also a meeting “Head and youth”. The head of the regional Directorate of “Protection” and the military prosecutor of Termez talked to the guys, listened to their suggestions and wishes. The reforms being implemented in the system of the Armed Forces of our country were also discussed and necessary recommendations were given.
