On the eve of the thirty–third anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in the first decade of August this year, a competition was held at the sports complex of the Functional All–Around Federation of Uzbekistan under the slogan "Only united - we are one people, only together - we are a strong country!" among military personnel and employees of the National Guard units. The main purpose of the competition is to include functional all–around in physical training classes in the units, to ensure the implementation of the tasks defined in the "roadmap" for the wide promotion of this sport among military personnel and employees.
The national teams of the National Guard departments for Tashkent city and Tashkent region, Directorate of "Protection", the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan, etc. took part in the competition.
The athletes demonstrated incredible zeal for victory, and were also able to check the level of physical fitness in this sport.
As a result, the team of Directorate of "Protection" of Tashkent city won the honorable 1st place.
It is worth noting that the competition laid a solid foundation for the formation of the National Guard functional all-around team.
