On the occasion of May 9 – the Day of Remembrance and Honors, employees of the Directorate of "Protection" of Samarkand region visited the participants of the Second World War.

In particular, they visited the house of 103-year-old Abdurakhman-ata Abilov, a participant of the Second World War, who lives in the mahalla of Uyrugul of Nurabad district.

Recalling the terrible events and heavy losses of those years, Abdurakhmon-ota thanked the staff for our peaceful and prosperous days. The difficult life path of our grandfathers and great–grandfathers is a great lesson for today's generation.
