A cultural and educational event was organized in the Youth Center of Termez city for employees of the National Guard Department for Surkhandarya region, the Directorate of "Protection" and the Department of Defense Affairs. The event under the slogan "The Land of Alpomysh!" was attended by the head of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, Senator Minkhojiddin Khozhimatov, as well as Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Jamila Shermukhammedova.
It should be noted that today equestrian sports are developing in the region, great attention is paid to the education of young riders, the formation of skills of playing ancient musical instruments dombra, drums, chankovuz. In this regard, the participants of this event played national instruments and demonstrated their art of bakhshi, performing unique epics that glorify such great values as bravery, courage, loyalty and devotion.
The speakers stressed the need to popularize Karabair horses, preserve our national traditions and values, especially the art of bakhshi, as well as transfer them to the younger generation. Within the framework of the event, a video was presented about the activities of the Karabayr Equestrian School and the Riding School under the National Guard, as well as the reforms implemented in the New Uzbekistan for the development of equestrian sports. At the end of the event, active participants were awarded.
