MUSEUMS ARE A LIVING MIRROR OF HISTORY
Everyone knows that museums play an important role in transmitting our national values to the younger generation, strengthening their knowledge of our cultural heritage, national culture, customs and traditions of the Uzbek people. These places are truly scientific treasures, and their value increases every year.
Thus, in order to organize a meaningful leisure time for the servicemen and employees of the National Guard of Syrdarya region, as well as their families, an excursion to the Museum of Memory of the Victims of Repressions, founded in Gulistan State University, was organized.
It is worth noting that this museum is a full reflection of many years of hard struggle for freedom and independence of our country. It is a center that perpetuated the memory of our compatriots who became victims of mass repressions during the autocratic regime. It is worth noting that the museum began its activities in 2019 with the aim of strengthening the feelings of love and loyalty to the ideas of independence in the hearts of the younger generation.
The servicemen, staff and their families learned a lot of new and interesting things, and were able to familiarize themselves with archival documents, photos, objects, books and videos of that period.
