MUSEUMS — CENTERS OF CULTURAL AND SPIRITUAL HERITAGE
Museums are places that embody the mysterious wonders of history, glorify the culture and values of peoples and are a bridge that unites countries. Museum tours are regularly organized for employees of the Department of Protection under the Ministry of Internal Affairs in order to foster respect for history and create a sense of preserving the rich cultural heritage of their ancestors.
In particular, a few days ago, an excursion to the State Museum of History and Culture of the region was organized for the personnel of the Directorate of Protection of Ferghana region. During the visit, the staff got acquainted with the household items of ancient peoples in the museumʼs applied arts department and clothes in the ethnography department. The museumʼs specialists told about the history of the region and the way of life of local residents.
A similar tour was organized for the staff of the Directorate of Protection of Namangan region. It is worth emphasizing that the Namangan Regional Historical and Cultural Museum is an important center for in-depth study of the history, culture and traditions of Namangan, as well as for exploring the rich heritage of past eras passed on to the younger generation. The museumʼs exhibits tell about the cultural and historical life of the region, the way of life of the people who lived there, national values, as well as cultural relics of past centuries.
Such trips to the museum are important for enriching the spiritual world of the staff, educating the younger generation in the spirit of love and devotion to the Motherland, studying national traditions and values, popularizing them and passing them on to future generations.
