Cultural and educational events within the framework of the Museum Week

As part of the Museum Week, employees of the Directorate of Protection of Andijan region visited the Bogi Babur memorial complex, dedicated to the memory of the outstanding statesman, poet and thinker Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur.

During the visit to the complex, the participants got acquainted with the majestic monument to Babur and his symbolic grave. The experts conducted a detailed tour for the guests, telling them about the life path, government activities, scientific and literary legacy of Babur Mirza, as well as his significant contribution to the development of world civilization. This visit contributed to strengthening the patriotic spirit of the staff, increasing their respect for the national history and spiritual heritage of the country.

At the same time, an excursion to the Museum of Memory of Victims of Repression at Gulistan State University was organized for employees of the Directorate of Protection of Syrdarya region. The museum opened on February 1, 2019, with the aim of preserving the historical truth about the peopleʼs struggle for freedom and independence, perpetuating the memory of compatriots who suffered from mass repression during the period of totalitarianism, as well as educating the younger generation of love for the Motherland and devotion to the ideals of independence.

During the visit to the museum, the staff got acquainted with the extensive exposition, including archival documents, photographs, physical evidence, books and video materials telling about the tragic pages of history and the fate of victims of repression.
