Corruption is a cancerous tumor on the body of society
In order to convey to the personnel the essence and significance of regulatory legal acts in the field of combating corruption, explaining the consequences of corruption crimes, a training seminar was held in Ferghana city with the participation of responsible managers and employees.
The event was actively attended by the heads and employees of the relevant branch services of the regional Department of Internal Affairs, as well as the personnel of the Directorate of Protection.
At the meeting devoted to the analysis of the negative consequences of corruption, as well as problems and shortcomings in the fight against it, the speakers spoke about the systematic work carried out in our country to combat this evil. As noted, it is no coincidence that the head of our state called this disease a "cancer in the body of society." It was emphasized that civil servants and law enforcement officers should be fully active and uncompromising in combating this phenomenon.
It was noted that the demand of the time is to further strengthen discipline and legality, develop a sense of personal responsibility and interdepartmental cooperation in the fight against corruption. In this regard, opinions were expressed and priorities were identified aimed at improving the effectiveness of anti-corruption measures.
Special attention was paid to the need to improve control and supervision mechanisms, as well as the importance of improving legal literacy among the population and government officials. The seminar participants discussed concrete steps to strengthen the fight against corruption and increase public confidence in government.
