During the summer holidays, the Directorate of Protection of Tashkent city implemented an educational initiative to develop a reading culture among young people and employees, and to organize their free time in a meaningful way.

Thus, the management staff and their children visited the Republican Childrenʼs Library the other day. Library specialists told the children about the importance of books and the role of reading culture in human life. Quizzes and interesting question and answer sessions were organized for young readers.

During the event, the children got acquainted with samples of modern and classical literature and chose the books they liked. The participants of the visit noted that reading books enriches a personʼs thinking and broadens his horizons.

This visit further increased the childrenʼs interest in books and their spiritual development. Such useful initiatives on the part of the Department of Security will be continued in the future.
