The Department of "Protection" of Mirzachul district of Jizzakh region, together with the district department of preschool and school education, organized excursions to the cosmonauts and local history museums for schoolchildren in order to spend their free time usefully and increase their knowledge of history, as well as interest in books.
During the excursions, pupils got acquainted with rare exhibits in the exhibition halls of museums, historical monuments of our past, the history of Uzbekistan and ancient artifacts.
Then a book fair was organized with the aim of widely promoting the culture of reading among young people. The book fair brought together wonderful works by Uzbek and world writers. Thanks to the fair, the children were also able to purchase books that interested them.
