A large-scale spiritual and educational evening entitled "As the Jadids served education and development, so together we will create new opportunities" was held in Surkhandarya region. The event brought together representatives of various spheres of society: employees of the internal affairs bodies and the Directorate of Protection, employees of the Prosecutorʼs Office, military personnel, veterans, university students, active youth, as well as deputies, professors, teachers and cultural figures.

The evening focused on the presentation of the life path and historical legacy of the outstanding leaders of the national awakening of the early 20th century — Mahmudhoji Behbudi, Abdurauf Fitrat, Abdullah Avloni and Munavvar Kori Abdurashidkhonov. The participants of the event got acquainted with their invaluable contribution to the development of science, education and the struggle for independence, as well as their role in shaping the national identity of the people.

During the meeting, representatives of the scientific and cultural elite shared their thoughts on the Jadid heritage and its significance for modern youth. Special attention was paid to the issues of science and spirituality.

The program of the event was rich and varied. The guests were able to get acquainted with modern military equipment and weapons at a specially organized exhibition. A large-scale book fair was prepared for the defenders of the Motherland, where literature on history, military affairs, patriotism and spirituality was presented.

The event helped strengthen the historical memory of the participants, awakened in them a sense of national pride and patriotism, leaving vivid impressions and important lessons for future generations.
