As part of the implementation of the tasks set by the head of state to improve the activities of internal affairs bodies in the field of protection, a working group led by the head of the Department of Protection, K.A.Shodibekov, carried out a set of measures to radically reform security activities in Samarkand region.

During the inspections, the state of technical security of national economy facilities, the level of protection of particularly important and categorized facilities, as well as facilities in the tourism industry were thoroughly analyzed. In addition, the conditions of service and the availability of personnel were assessed, and the combat readiness of the units was checked.

At meetings with the heads of protected facilities, the issues of increasing the level of security of territories and the large-scale introduction of digital technologies into security activities were discussed in detail.

Based on the results of the work, it was instructed to re-check the technical security of more than 9 000 protected facilities and over 5 000 residential buildings. To eliminate the identified shortcomings and implement the proposals received, the staff of the management office were given appropriate instructions and the necessary resources were allocated.

Special attention is paid to the need to ensure close cooperation between the monitoring centers of the Protection units and the duty units of the internal affairs bodies. It was also instructed to establish joint work of operational groups with industry services and develop clear coordination of actions in the suppression of crimes and offenses.
