The leadership of the Department of Protection is carrying out work in Kashkadarya region to ensure the implementation of the instructions of the head of our state aimed at more effectively organizing protection activities in the country, establishing a system for the protection of facilities based on modern requirements, deeply analyzing existing problems and providing practical assistance in their elimination, as well as increasing the effectiveness of rapid response teams
In order to implement the instructions of the Head of State, given during the visit to the Protection Service of Tashkent city on January 27, and to ensure a safe environment and combat crime across the entire republic, the Department of Protection carried out extensive work in Kashkadarya Region. The activities focused on the effective organisation of object protection, identification and elimination of existing issues, as well as providing practical assistance on the ground.
Under the leadership of A. N. Umarov, Deputy Head of the Department of Protection, a comprehensive analysis of the organisation of service activities of protection units in the region was conducted. During the inspection, the working conditions of the service were thoroughly examined, along with the technical resilience of high‑priority, categorised, and national economy facilities under protection. Special attention was given to the service conditions and level of provision for employees, as well as the state of combat readiness of the units. As part of the discussion, measures to enhance the security of protected areas and actively integrate digital technologies into security operations were considered.
A comprehensive analysis of the information analysis and crime prevention system was carried out at the Protection Service monitoring centre, which revealed both achievements and problem areas.
As part of practical activities, a pre‑service briefing was held with the participation of rapid response team members from the Protection Service of Karshi city. Staff were reminded of their key responsibilities: to remain vigilant and attentive, ensure public and civil security, and maintain public order. In addition, the service activities of school security guards were evaluated, and the functionality of the «panic button» system was tested.
Based on the inspection results, responsible officials were given specific instructions to strengthen security and improve the efficiency of preventive work in the region, as well as to provide practical assistance to the public. Office management staff received assignments to address identified deficiencies and implement proposed measures. All necessary resources have been allocated to accomplish the assigned tasks.
Furthermore, responsible officials have been instructed to synchronise the work of security unit monitoring centres with the duty units of internal affairs agencies, organise the interaction of operational groups with relevant services, and coordinate joint actions to prevent and suppress crimes and offences.
