Corruption causes serious damage to the political and economic development of any state and society, weakens the constitutional foundations of the state and the rule of law, corrodes the country from the inside. This, in turn, harms stability, peace and the development of a healthy environment. Therefore, it is very important to fight corruption.

A few days ago, in order to curb corruption among employees, a meeting was held with the participation of the personnel of the Directorate of "Protection" of Samarkand region.

The speakers stressed that the focus should be on the universal fight against corruption, and every conscious person should deeply understand that this vice is a great threat to the development and security of society.

It was explained to the staff that the prevention and eradication of corruption cannot be achieved only by the state and the Government. Therefore, it is necessary that the whole society, all citizens stand up to fight against it.

At the end of the event, a video about the consequences of corruption was presented, and it was also emphasized that the fight against it is one of the most pressing issues for any society.
