In order to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the head of our state dated August 9, 2022 "On measures to further improve the activities of blood service institutions and the development of the gratuitous donor movement among the population of the republic", charity events "I am a donor" are organized locally. Another similar action took place in the department of "Protection" of Samarkand city.
The specialists of the blood transfusion station of Samarkand region, who arrived at the department on a special mobile bus, informed the employees of the "Protection" service about the blood donation process, the requirements for donors and their rights, as well as the importance of observing sanitary and hygienic rules. Along with this, it was noted how beneficial blood donation is for human health, and that it plays an important role in saving the lives of those in need of it, suffering from difficult-to-treat oncohematological and thalassemic diseases.
After the briefing, employees of the department of "Protection" took part in the "I am a donor" campaign and voluntarily donated blood.
