An important role in strengthening the love of the Motherland among the younger generation, respect for the traditions left by their ancestors, loyalty to the nation, national pride, first of all, is played by a deep understanding of the history of the region.

Thus, we are charged with the duty to acquaint and educate the younger generation with the historical and cultural heritage left by our ancestors. For this purpose, employees of the Directorate of "Protection" of Namangan region organized a trip to the open-air museum of the Akhsikent settlement for pupils of school № 14 of Mingbulak district.

During the trip, historians told the students about the remnants of the ancient city studied here, as well as about the population of that time and their way of life.
